Some of you may know me as Ubend or Aoneweb, I have signed on to this forum, after stopping by the Ibasic forum.
I would like to mention the up coming new Basic, called Nuclear Basic as this is a coding site.(hope I am not breaking any rules)
Check out the web site, and let me know what you guys think.

Last time I heard about Nuclear Basic and the guy behind was from my friend Lee Bardsley and from the BCX newsgroup. At sometime it was a copy of BCX with mroe or less just a different name on it. :o I wouldn't spend money on it.

I PM'ed the author of NB to ask him if this is the case, here is his reply:
Quote
Woah, a copy of BCX? That's a majorly misinformed claim. I've never even heard of BCX

All of NB was homegrown using the Windows API and Intel architecture documents. Very few parts use externally written libraries (ie: OGG Vorbis file loading - public domain sources suggested by the OGG authors). I am not knowingly affiliated with BCX in anyway nor are my engines/tools.

Matthew.

I hope that will stop any confusion about Nuclear Basic.

From reading the NB forum, it looks like a beta should hae already been out, but the main guy is having some kind of 3d algorithm problem holding him back. Sounds interesting, im willing to give it a chance to try it out whenever it's released.

I'm hoping to issue a new maintenance release to the IWBasic 3.x IDE in the next few weeks and Larry Sikes has released an update to the Linux version of IWBasic and is currently working on the 64bit version of IWBasic.  Progress should speed up since he has retired and has apparently resolved his m
